Pay Rate: Starting at $38 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate General Education Math Teacher to join a dedicated school team in New Orleans, LA for the 20252026 academic year. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on providing high-quality math instruction to help students build strong quantitative reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective math lessons aligned with state standards

• Teach core math subjects, including algebra, geometry, and foundational mathematics

• Use data-driven instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs

• Assess student performance and provide regular feedback to students and parents

• Create a structured and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning

• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support student achievement

• Participate in school events, professional development, and team meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Masters preferred)

• Active Louisiana Teaching Certification in Math or General Education (or eligibility to obtain)

• Previous teaching experience in a middle or high school math setting preferred

• Strong classroom management and instructional skills

• Passion for math education and student growth
