ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and certified Special Education Teacher to serve a middle school program in Montpelier, VT for the 20252026 school year. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students who benefit from individualized instruction and strong educator support.
Position Overview:

Full-time, MondayFriday
</li>
<li>
Caseload: Middle school students (grades 68)
</li>
<li>
Develop and implement IEPs
</li>
<li>
Provide specialized instruction in small group or inclusive settings
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
</li>
<li>
Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
</li>
<li>
Valid Vermont Educator License with SPED endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
</li>
<li>
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
</li>
<li>
Previous experience at the middle school level preferred
</li>
<li>
Excellent communication and organizational skills
</li>
