Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
VocoVision is hiring a licensed School Psychologist to provide virtual services for a public school district in West Virginia during the 202526 school year. The psychologist will support a K12 caseload by conducting virtual assessments, contributing to special education eligibility decisions, providing mental health services, and consulting with staffall within a secure, remote environment.
? Key Responsibilities

Virtual Assessments: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations remotely for initial and triennial eligibility using approved tele-assessment tools.

Eligibility & IEP Support: Interpret assessment data and participate in virtual IEP and eligibility meetings alongside school teams and families.

Counseling Services: Provide remote individual or group counseling per IEP goals or 504 plan needs.

Behavior Intervention: Help develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) in collaboration with staff and families.

Staff Consultation: Support educators with MTSS interventions, behavioral strategies, and classroom accommodations.

Crisis Intervention: Participate virtually in behavioral risk or suicide assessments as requested.

Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) regulations.

Collaborative Communication: Stay connected with district staff through virtual meetings and consistent communication.
? Required Qualifications

Education: Masters, Ed.S., or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

Licensure: Active West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) licensure as a School Psychologist OR eligibility for licensure reciprocity through WVDE.

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a K12 setting (onsite or virtual); experience conducting comprehensive school-based evaluations and counseling.

Technology: Reliable, high-speed internet and access to HIPAA-compliant video platforms and tele-assessment tools (e.g., Pearson Q-Interactive).

Background Check: Willing to complete fingerprinting and background clearance required by West Virginia schools.
? Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with West Virginia special education processes, WVEIS (West Virginia Education Information System), and state compliance timelines.

Experience in MTSS, PBIS, and restorative practices.

Previous remote school psychology experience.

Bilingual skills or experience with culturally and linguistically diverse student populations.
