Blazer Jobs is proud to partner with a dedicated school district in Lewis Center, OH, to recruit a qualified School Counselor for the 20252026 school year. This full-time, onsite position involves working with a K-12 caseload, supporting students through social, emotional, and academic development.

Position Details:

Location: Lewis Center, OH

Schedule: MondayFriday, 37.5 hours/week

Contract Dates: August 20, 2025 May 28, 2026

Caseload: K12 students

Pay Range: $43$48/hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time, onsite

Renewal: Renewal for the following school year based on performance and district needs
Daily Responsibilities:
-
Provide individual and group counseling services to students
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement IEPs
-
Support students with social-emotional learning, academic guidance, and crisis intervention
-
Maintain accurate records in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
-
Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment

Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as necessary
State Requirements:
-
Valid Ohio State Counseling degree
-
Pediatric experience or demonstrated experience working with IEPs
-
Ability to work onsite full-time throughout the school year
