We are seeking dynamic and experienced Instructor/Mentors with a background in field operations, commercial business, and organizational management to support a specialized training program for military-affiliated students transitioning into operations management roles. This position combines classroom instruction with real-world mentorship to cultivate leadership competencies and operational expertise in aspiring professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction on operations, management, and leadership principles through lectures, discussions, and experiential learning.
- Assess student performance via assignments, practical projects, and presentations.
- Provide individual and group mentorship focused on professional development and career readiness.
- Develop and refine course materials, lesson plans, and evaluation tools aligned with program learning outcomes.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in operations and management disciplines.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and government stakeholders to ensure program content remains current, relevant, and impactful.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Background in signature reduction, commercial business operations, and field management.
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of operational platforms.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in conducting and managing field operations.
- Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or professional training is highly desirable.
Skills & Clearances:
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong grasp of operational and management concepts with the ability to translate theory into practical application.
- Proven ability to provide constructive feedback and support individual growth.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
Working Conditions
- Onsite position based in North Carolina, with potential travel to other East Coast locations.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
- Training is delivered in two-week iterations, twice annually.
