Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in assessments and interventions
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Cultural petence and mitment to equity in education
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff.
- Provide direct psychological services, including counseling and interventions.
- Consult with educators and parents regarding students psychological and educational needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment.
- Monitor and analyze students progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance practice.
