A full-semester contract opportunity is available for School Psychologists supporting K-12 students in special education settings outside of Phoenix, AZ, specifically in the San Tan Valley area. This role requires full-time commitment over 37.5 hours per week, with start dates in mid-July 2025. The position is ideal for professionals licensed to work in school psychology who are dedicated to supporting diverse student needs in onsite settings.
Available openings include:
- Elementary School Psychologist
- Middle/Secondary School Psychologist (position requires on-site presence at an online school; no hybrid or remote work eligible)
- High School Special Education Psychologist
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona School Psychologist license/certification
- IVP fingerprint clearance card required
- Previous experience working in K-12 special education environments preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility for special education services
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with school teams
- Provide direct interventions and counseling to students
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support students academic and behavioral success
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
