Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for School Psychologists supporting K-12 students in special education settings outside of Phoenix, AZ, specifically in the San Tan Valley area. This role requires full-time commitment over 37.5 hours per week, with start dates in mid-July 2025. The position is ideal for professionals licensed to work in school psychology who are dedicated to supporting diverse student needs in onsite settings.

Available openings include:

  • Elementary School Psychologist
  • Middle/Secondary School Psychologist (position requires on-site presence at an online school; no hybrid or remote work eligible)
  • High School Special Education Psychologist

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona School Psychologist license/certification
  • IVP fingerprint clearance card required
  • Previous experience working in K-12 special education environments preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility for special education services
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with school teams
  • Provide direct interventions and counseling to students
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support students academic and behavioral success
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
