A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students across grades K-12. This contract position offers the chance to deliver meaningful educational experiences within an inclusive setting, focusing on students with multiple disabilities (MD). The role will be located in Tiffin, OH, serving a variety of classrooms including 2nd and 3rd-grade MD units, 4th and 5th-grade inclusion or MD units, and a high school MD unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with multiple disabilities, adapting curriculum to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence.
- Participate in relevant meetings and professional development activities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with K-12 students with multiple disabilities.
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads across elementary and high school grade levels.
- Strong munication skills and a collaborative mindset.
