Promise Care Center is looking for a member in our Activities Department. Our organization is family owned and proud to carry on a legacy of caring for people. We are a safe and pleasant skilled nursing facility, and we strive to gobeyond the normto provide the top level of care we can for our residents! Your job will be to help ensure that the activities department is run efficiency in accordance with our company's policies and regulatory guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Planning and executing a variety of activities for our residents
- Guiding the Resident Council Meeting
- Passing out and collecting shopping lists to our residents
- Pass out Mail to the residents daily
- Lead various weekly activities - Coffee Hour, Movie night, etc.
- Monthly Activity Calendar
- Transportation
- Appointments
Participate in staff development, attend in-service training and maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes cooperation and teamwork with co-workers, supervisors, residents and visitors according to the organizations policies and procedures and code of ethics.
