Christian Care Communities is looking for a Life Enrichment/ Activities Coordinator for our Independent Living senior housing community in Hopkinsville. The Life Enrichment Director plans, schedules, and supervises activities/events for residents which provide entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, relaxation, intellectual development, sensory and utilization of their talents.

What Youll Do:

  • Participates in community planning and public/special events related to the interest of the facility and the services and needs of the residents and families.
  • Plans, schedules, and supervises activities/events for residents which provide entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, relaxation, intellectual development, sensory and utilization of their talents.
  • Operates activities/events within budgetary limits/allocation for program services.
  • Supports residents religious participation, coordinates spiritual needs with Chaplain, schedules religious services in coordination with the Chaplain
  • Arranges transportation to outside events/activities when necessary


What Were Looking For:

  • 2 years experience in a social or recreational program setting, at least one of which was in a /resident activity program in older adult setting
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care
