Location: Havelock, NC Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite Start/End Dates: August 18, 2025 Mid-June 2026 Caseload: K3 adaptive classroom with 68 high-needs students 
An elementary school in Havelock is hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work in an adaptive/self-contained K3 setting. The teacher will join a collaborative team focused on creating meaningful academic and social-emotional growth for students.
Responsibilities:

Design and deliver lessons aligned with IEP goals
</li>
<li>
Maintain effective classroom management strategies
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with three paraprofessionals for instruction and support
</li>
<li>
Participate in IEP meetings and documentation
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>
North Carolina Special Education certification
</li>
<li>
Experience in self-contained classrooms preferred
</li>
<li>
Ability to implement behavior and learning strategies for high-needs students
</li>
