Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
This opportunity is for a part-time School Psychologist position supporting K-12 students in Renton, WA. The assignment is contracted for the 2024-2025 school year, running from September 3 through June 12. Working approximately 2 days per week, the schedule includes two full days at 7.5 hours each and a shorter 3.5-hour day.
Responsibilities for this role include conducting psychological testing, managing a caseload of around 20 reevaluations, and providing support for Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs). The primary focus will be to evaluate students needs and collaborate with educators and families to develop appropriate support plans.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within a K-12 school environment
- Proficiency in administering psychological assessments and interpreting results
- Knowledge of conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
- Strong munication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
