A school district in Hemet, CA is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support K-12 students on a contract basis for the current school year. This role requires conducting a range of psychological assessments and providing critical support to enhance student success in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments for approximately 70 students throughout the school year
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop individual education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide consultation on behavioral, social, and emotional issues affecting students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support strategies
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Schedule and Location:
- Position located in Hemet, CA
- Contract duration: Current school year (CSY)
- Typical hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
