The Opportunity

As a Sales Trainer/Coach, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our sales team while building a foundation to grow with the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and mentor a team of sales representatives, focusing on skill development, performance improvement, and achieving monthly sales goals.
  • Conduct regular 1-on-1 coaching sessions, role-playing exercises, and team workshops.
  • Provide actionable feedback to reps based on sales performance and debrief calls.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure leads are distributed effectively and followed up on promptly.
  • Track and analyze individual and team metrics using tools like Acculynx, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies and incentive programs.
  • Work closely with management to identify high-potential team members and future leaders.
  • Build a positive, high-performance sales culture centered around accountability and achievement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Sales Experience: A track record of success in sales (3+ years), preferably in the construction or home improvement industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in coaching, training, or mentoring a sales team.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to inspire and motivate individuals while delivering constructive feedback.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using CRMs (Acculynx experience is a plus) and interpreting sales data to drive performance.
  • Goal-Oriented: Commitment to achieving and exceeding sales targets through effective team development.
  • Growth Potential: A desire to grow into a Sales Manager role and take ownership of the team’s success.
