A full-time School Psychologist position is available for a K-12 school located in Clam Gulch, AK. This is a contracted role for the full school year, requiring travel to the location. The ideal candidate will provide essential psychological services to support the academic and behavioral success of students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to address student needs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as necessary.
- Assist with crisis intervention and provide remendations for behavioral management.
- Maintain thorough documentation and ply with all state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for the state.
- Experience working in K-12 school settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and interpretation.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel and adapt to a remote location.
