Job Description
Perform sample and standard preparation, instrument setup, and general lab maintenance under the direction of chemists.
- Perform sample and calibration standard preparation under the direction of chemists.
- Prepare standard acid matrices in carboys and fill DI water carboys.
- Wash lab glassware and maintain general lab cleanliness.
- Monitor hood airflow; verify balance, volumetrics, and pipettes calibration as needed.
- Pull and replace QC retains as directed by chemists.
- Dispose of hazardous waste.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of MS office (word and excel) is preferred
- Basic knowledge of chemistry is highly preferred
