Autistic Support Teacher (Full-Time, Onsite)
Location: Chester, PA
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract
Dates: '25-'26 School year
Schedule: MondayFriday, 37.5 hours/week

We are looking for educators who are passionate about working with students on the autism spectrum and who bring strong instructional and behavioral management skills. Prior experience in urban school settings is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction aligned with district and state standards

• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans based on student needs

• Support students in achieving IEP goals

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring

• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff

• Demonstrate effective classroom and behavior management strategies

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification or licensure (Required)

• Bachelors degree (Required to obtain Emergency Teaching Permit, if needed)

• Must be able to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances

• Previous school-based experience is required

• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills

• Experience working in urban education settings strongly preferred

Caseloads:

• One K2nd grade caseload

• One 3rd5th grade caseload

• 810 students per classroom
