Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Infant and Toddler Teacher DIVISION: Education
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
STATUS: Full- Time
PURPOSE:
The Infant and Toddler Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and inclusive educational setting for all children. This includes supporting families and encouraging family engagement.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Create and implement curriculum that is developmentally appropriate.
- Mentor and encourage assistants, substitutes, and volunteers.
- Ensure the safety of all children at all times.
- Actively participate in parent engagement opportunities.
- Serve as a positive influence through behaviors, attitudes, and actions.
- Maintain great communication and professional relationships with students, family members and co-workers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Infant and Toddler CDA or an equivalent of a CDA (12 credit hours in ECE) (Required)
- Associates or Bachelors in ECE or a related field (Preferred)
- Driver’s license (Required)
- Good Communicator, Dependable, and Compassionate!
