A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in San Francisco, CA, through a contract position for the uping school year. This role offers the chance to work in a diverse educational setting, applying psychological expertise to enhance student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments for students K-12
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student mental health
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive behavioral strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid credential or license to practice as a School Psychologist in California
- Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and munication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
