Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years social worker experience required.
This position involves providing social work services in a middle school setting to support general education students facing personal and psychological challenges. The role requires counseling students, developing treatment plans, facilitating workshops, and creating prevention and intervention programs to improve student performance, behavior, and socialization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting counseling sessions and implementing treatment or prevention plans
- Assessing students needs through direct munication
- Collaborating with teachers and administrators to address behavioral and attitude issues
- Coordinating with outside support services for students facing economic, emotional, or physical difficulties
- municating with parents, teachers, and administrators to understand student challenges
- Maintaining detailed case files and progress reports
- Assisting students and families affected by abuse, violence, hunger, or homelessness to connect with munity resources

Required qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Social Work
- 310 Social Worker Endorsement
