Teacher of the Visually Impaired
2025-2026 School Year
ProCare Therapy is working with a local school district to hire a qualified Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support students in a dynamic educational environment located in Arizona.
Those employed for the available positions will serve as a contract worker. All pay, benefits, human resources claims, etc. will be overseen by the ProCare Therapy support staff.

Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Special Education, with an emphasis on visual impairment preferred.

Valid teaching certification in visual impairment, or eligibility for one.

Strong understanding of instructional strategies and tools for students with visual impairments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that reflect each student's unique needs and goals.

Create a supportive and adaptive classroom environment conducive to learning for visually impaired students.

Collaborate with other educational professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's education.

Utilize appropriate instructional materials and technology to enhance learning experiences.

Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Interview Specifics:

Applicants will go through an informal prescreening process with recruiters at ProCare Therapy to ensure qualifications are met.

Applicants will be interviewed by the school or district department lead. The interview is typically a 30 minute Zoom call.

The school/district may request a second interview where the applicant comes to campus.

In conjunction with the school/district, ProCare Therapy will offer qualified candidates the position and begin the onboarding process.
