The Role
Paradromics is seeking an experienced and thoughtful Head of People to help us grow and evolve while preserving the values that define our team. You will report directly to the CEO and serve as the lead HR presence in the company, supported by an HR Generalist.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of people functions—from advising leadership and shaping culture to managing day-to-day employee needs. You’ll help us scale thoughtfully, maintain high trust across teams, and navigate the complex realities of building a company that spans R&D, clinical operations, and advanced manufacturing.
This role is 100% on-site in Austin, and a visible, embedded presence is essential to its success.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent amount of experience and training.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in human resources, including direct employee relations and management coaching
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, including immigration law, performance management, compensation strategy, and organizational development
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive conversations with professionalism and care
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and help others do the same
