We’re on the hunt for our next Supervisor of Client Engagement. The Supervisor of Client Engagement (including Intake, Outreach, and Career Services) is responsible for providing direct supervision and leadership to teams of Intake/Outreach Specialists, Career Navigators, and Assessment Specialists. This role ensures that all team members effectively support clients through outreach, intake, assessment, career planning, and job placement, aligning with organizational goals and contractual requirements. As a master multitasker, the Supervisor of Client Engagement will get it all done with positivity, patience and influence with their team.

The Awesome Things You’ll Do

  • Coordinates the day-to-day operations and flow of participants in PACE ·
  • Provides direct supervision and guidance to Intake/Outreach Specialists, Career Navigators, and Assessment Specialists. ·
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to high standards. ·
  • Conducts regular staff meetings, performance reviews, and provide ongoing feedback and professional development. ·
  • Ensures clients are accurately evaluated and matched to appropriate programs or services ·
  • Monitors client progress in career development, ensuring clients have access to necessary resources for job placement and retention. ·
  • Tracks team performance, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness in outreach, intake, assessment, and job placement ·
  • Ensures that all staff are informed about HRA (or relevant) policies and procedures to meet program compliance and contractual obligations.
  • Conducts internal audits to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including intake, assessment, and employment placement.

Our Must Haves

  • BA/BS degree in Social Services, or related discipline or 5 years' experience in a similar administrative/managerial position in an employment/placement environment.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in workforce development, career services, or social services, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with New York City’s workforce development system and local labor market trends.
  • Proficiency in data management systems and reporting tools.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills 
  • Proven ability to work with diverse populations 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including active and reflective listening, motivational interviewing, authentic communication, and conflict resolution 
  • Highly effective problem-solving and follow up skills 
  • Ability to focus deadlines and details 
  • Excellent networking skills 
  • Record-keeping, case noting, HIPAA compliance, and maintaining confidentiality
