Are you fun, energetic, and passionate about working with kids? Do you love watching little minds grow, explore, and discover the world around them? Yellow Brick Road Early Childhood is looking for an Assistant Teacher to bring enthusiasm, creativity, and heart to our team in Ankeny!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Jumping into action with engaging, hands-on learning experiences
• Creating a safe, happy, and encouraging space where kids thrive
• Laughing, dancing, storytelling, and inspiring curiosity every single day
• Partnering with teachers & parents to make each child’s journey special
• Being a hero—because let’s be honest, that’s what great teachers are!

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in childcare? Awesome! If not, a willingness to learn is key!
• CPR/First Aid certified? Great! If not, we’ll help you get there.
• A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (because little ones love being picked up!)
• A love for fun, creativity, and making a difference!
