Your Role With Us:

The advancement and delivery of top-notch, effective healthcare education is at the heart of what we do! Your results-driven and student-centric mindset will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Office of the Registrar by providing excellent customer service and ensuring the accurate maintenance of student records.

Core Functions:

  • Provide assistance to students and others on the phone, online, and in person. Answer a wide range of questions from students and alumni, faculty and staff, and others
  • Complete all student record requests, including enrollment/education verifications and miscellaneous requests.
  • Maintain official student files and ensure that the University's record retention policies are followed
  • Monitor student activity in the online learning management system (LMS)
  • Assist in the administration and coordination of information systems pertaining to registration and student records
  • Monitor student academic incomplete and in-progress processes.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of commencement ceremonies, including regalia, venue, and logistics for attendees
  • Assist in conducting and coordinating degree audit and related processes for tri-annual graduation (student degree conferral)
  • Update program information on the University website as needed.
  • Monitor students with part-time or specialized degree plans to ensure scheduling accuracy

Background/Expertise:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Knowledge of the Family Educational Rights & Privacy (FERPA) Act, higher education procedures, and good practices is desired.
  • Understanding of student record keeping and organization.
  • Experience with student information systems and distance learning (online/blended) is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of complex technological applications
  • Responsible and trustworthy with confidential data
  • Professional communication skills – in person, written, and online
  • Ability to work independently
  • Problem-solving capability
  • Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization
  • Able to interpret various instructions
