Job Description:
As a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Specialist Teacher, you will:

Design and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the unique communication and learning needs of DHH students.

Provide specialized instruction, using a range of communication strategies such as sign language, oral methods, or total communication.

Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, interpreters, and related service providers to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Foster an accessible classroom setting that prioritizes language development, social-emotional growth, and academic achievement.

Continuously assess student progress and refine instructional methods to optimize learning outcomes.
Hours:Part Time
Schedule: 22 hrs per week
