Job Description:

As a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Specialist Teacher, you will:

  • Design and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the unique communication and learning needs of DHH students.

  • Provide specialized instruction, using a range of communication strategies such as sign language, oral methods, or total communication.

  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, interpreters, and related service providers to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

  • Foster an accessible classroom setting that prioritizes language development, social-emotional growth, and academic achievement.

  • Continuously assess student progress and refine instructional methods to optimize learning outcomes.

Hours:Part Time
Schedule: 22 hrs per week
