Tank Container Competency Center AMERICAS (TCCC) is seeking applicants to spearhead fleet growth and efficiency across North, Central, and South America. Leschaco is more than a global Tank Container Operator — we are a world-class Freight Forwarder, NVOCC, Customs House Broker, and Warehousing & Distribution provider, with owned locations in 24 countries and a team of over 3,300 employees worldwide. This Houston, Texas-based role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with international colleagues and help shape the future direction of our ISO tank product on a global scale.


Responsibilities:

  • Full P&L ownership and financial performance management for the region, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Lead and develop a team of operational, technical, procurement, and cross-functional professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve business goals
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity; adjust strategies to maintain competitive positioning
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth markets
  • Provide strategic insight to optimize profitability, considering fleet utilization, demurrage management, commercial performance, and operational efficiency across a complex logistics chain
  • Drive process improvement, digitalization, and operational optimization in alignment with evolving technologies and industry best practices
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, environmental, and industry standards
  • Reports directly to the Head of Global Tank Container
  • International and domestic travel required

Requirements:

Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the tank container industry
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with full P&L management responsibility
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus, but not required
