Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology
- Experience working in K-12 settings
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Cultural petence and mitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff
- Provide consultation services to educators and parents regarding student needs
- Deliver direct counseling services to students and support their emotional and academic well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
- Provide training and resources on mental health and wellness to staff and parents
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
