A K-12 school in Gillette, WY is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position spanning the full school year. This role involves providing psychological services to a caseload of 24 special needs students, many of whom exhibit aggressive behaviors.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break
- 8 hours per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student development and address behavioral challenges
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Provide consultation and remendations for individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, especially those with special needs and aggressive behaviors
- Strong skills in behavioral assessment and intervention planning
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
