Hiring Now: Special Education Teacher High School Life Skills Classroom | 20252026 School Year | Omaha, NE

ProCare Therapy is working with a high school in Omaha, NE, to fill a Special Education teaching role for the 20252026 school year. We're looking for a dedicated, team-oriented professional with a passion for supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities in a functional life skills setting.

Position Snapshot:

  • Start Date: July 23, 2025

  • Contract Length: Flexible one semester (ending in December) or full academic year (through May)

  • Hours: 7:45 AM 4:00 PM, with additional meeting time

  • Grades: 9th through 12th

  • Caseload: 12 students

  • Instructional Focus: Alternate curriculum with emphasis on daily living and life skills

  • IEP Platform: Custom-designed by the district

  • Support Staff: Assisted by multiple paraprofessionals in the classroom
