A school in Sacramento, CA, is seeking three Special Education Teachers for the 2025-2026 academic year, starting on August 6, 2025. These full-time, direct hire positions require a mitment of 7.5 hours per day in an in-person K-12 educational setting.
Positions available include:
- 1 Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher
- 2 Special Day Class (SDC) Teachers
Candidates must hold a valid California Special Education teaching license, qualified in either Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe disabilities. Caseloads will average 25 students, with an adult-to-student ratio of 1:3 in SDC settings. Paraeducator support is provided to ensure effective classroom management and individualized instruction.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid CA Special Education Teaching Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe)
- Experience with special education instructional strategies and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 25 students

Primary responsibilities include delivering tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs, adapting lessons based on IEP goals, and maintaining detailed student progress documentation.
