Itinerant Special Education Teacher
Position Duration: August 11, 2025 May 22, 2026
Weekly Hours: 30 hours per week
Caseload: Approximately 16 students, ages Early Childhood through 21 years

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Itinerant Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support across multiple school sites. This role requires flexibility and strong organizational skills to effectively serve a diverse caseload spanning early childhood through young adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to multiple school locations to deliver tailored special education services

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for a caseload of approximately 16 students

• Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and support staff to promote student success

• Utilize evidence-based practices to support academic, social, and behavioral growth

• Maintain detailed records and progress monitoring for each student

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education certification/license appropriate for the caseload

• Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school sites

• Strong munication, time management, and collaboration skills
