Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Teaching License
- Current and valid certifications in Special Education
- Previous experience teaching in an Adaptive Self-Contained classroom
- Strong understanding of individual student needs and ability to implement tailored teaching strategies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning
- Collaborate with instructional assistants and other staff to support student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as required
- Engage in ongoing communication with students, parents, and support staff regarding student development
- Maintain documentation of student progress and IEP compliance
