Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related area
• Valid Oregon Special Education Teacher license through the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC)
• Ability to pass Oregon state background and fingerprinting requirements
• Previous school-based experience preferred

Job Duties:

• Create, implement, and manage IEPs for students with disabilities
• Provide specialized instruction individually and in small groups
• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet each students needs
• Maintain regular communication with families and school staff
• Track student progress and report on goals
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws
