Hearing Itinerant Teacher Romeoville, IL (60446) Schoolhouse Staffing is seeking a qualified Hearing Itinerant Teacher to support students in the Romeoville, IL area for the 20252026 school year.
This is a full-time, school-based position with travel between school sites.
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing</li>
<li>Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and families</li>
<li>Support the use and monitoring of hearing amplification devices and FM systems</li>
<li>Participate in IEP meetings and develop appropriate goals for students</li>
<li>Adapt curriculum and learning environments to meet individual student needs</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)</li>
<li>Endorsement as a Teacher of Students Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing</li>
<li>Reliable transportation to travel between school sites</li>
<li>School-based experience preferred</li>
