This position is focused on fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for a behavior cluster program, serving students from Kindergarten to 3rd grade.
Location: Tucson, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with paraprofessional support staff to create a structured and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to promote successful learning outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student development and behavior management.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Valid state certification or licensure in Special Education.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in a behavior support setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
