NuPaths (www.nupaths.org) offers a springboard for career success through short-term educational pathways. We provide a series of courses to develop information technology (IT) skills based on industry certifications and aligned with in-demand IT job roles. NuPaths is cofounded by Harrisburg University of Science & Technology.

Position Summary:

NuPaths is looking for instructors to teach courses that develop business skills and prepare high school students to enter the technology workforce. Topics include job search, resume prep, interview prep, social media for networking, communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution, and professional networking.

This course is delivered over three separate weeks, interspersed between technology-focused courses. The anticipated schedule includes:

One week in mid-October 2025
One week in early December 2025
One week in mid-March 2026

NuPaths provides fully developed course materials. The selected candidate(s) will work closely with NuPaths to deliver this content in the classroom, support students in building practical skills, and offer individualized and small-group instruction throughout the course.

Required qualifications:

2+ year’s teaching or training experience in related topics.

Please note: Due to the nature of this role involving direct interaction with high school students, selected candidates must successfully complete required background clearances prior to the start of the course.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in a related discipline. HS, career school, or higher education teaching experience.
