Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Alabama Special Education Teacher certification
• Must meet Alabama State Department of Education licensure requirements
• Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the state
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Job Duties:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents
• Monitor and document student progress
• Modify curriculum and adapt teaching methods to meet students unique needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
