JOB SUMMARY:
The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to key initiatives supporting the startup of the Melbourne MRO Facility and the deployment of the corridor system.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Administer the Corridor Work Order application to include:
- Management of permissions assigned to Groups.
- Updating of Part Masters to include new parts and pricing updates via the Part Master Updater tool.
- Use of the Spider tool to import new Customers and Vendors from data obtained from Accounting.
- Associating Crystal Reports to the proper Reporting menu item.
- Assist with Tool management by performing imports of tools, tool masters, and tool calibration data.
- Suggestion of ideas and development of processes to utilize Corridor to support specific Repair Station functions (R&I, Discrepancy Collection, Logbook Entries, Work Paks, Canned Services, etc.), to include enhancement of existing processes.
- Develop and maintain APIs that push data from Corridor to other systems.
- Provide logistical support for all aspects of internal learning activities include, but are not limited to, using current Learning Management Systems material and courses.
- Participate in peer evaluations process to provide constructive feedback regarding the courses developed by Learning and Development team members and make recommendations that will enhance the learner's experience.
- Assist with onboarding class facilitation to maintain in-person schedule, as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a university program.
- Proficient in the use Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Ability to be creative and make sound judgments while working independently on multiple projects.
- Must be able to communicate and/or facilitate in a professional manner when dealing with visitors, vendors, auditors, employees and senior management.
