A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Santa Rosa, NM for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time contract position offers a four-day work week, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a balanced schedule that supports both professional and personal commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for a caseload of 20-25 students, primarily composed of mild cases including some non-verbal students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide strategies that support student learning and well-being.
- Provide consultation and support to school teams, ensuring compliance with educational regulations and best practices.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with school and legal requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 students.
- Ability to manage a moderate caseload with diverse needs.
- Skilled in conducting assessments and collaborating with educational teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location: Santa Rosa, NM
