Full-Time Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher in Hampshire, IL

Location: Hampshire, IL
Schedule: MondayFriday, 37.5 Hours/Week
Population: High School Students

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a committed and compassionate Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to join our team in Hampshire, IL. This full-time position supports a high school population within a dedicated DHH program and offers a small, manageable caseload. All services are provided on-site.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time: 37.5 hours/week (MondayFriday)

• Location: High school campus in Hampshire, IL

• Population: High school students

• Caseload: Small, focused group of students in a DHH program

• Environment: Collaborative, student-centered setting with on-site support

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to high school students who are deaf or hard of hearing

• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the educational team

• Support students in accessing the general education curriculum

• Provide strategies and tools to support language development and communication

• Collaborate with staff, families, and service providers to ensure student success

Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a DHH endorsement required

• Experience working with high school students preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
