Job Description:
We are currently seeking a committed and compassionate Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to join our team in Hampshire, IL. This full-time position supports a high school population within a dedicated DHH program and offers a small, manageable caseload. All services are provided on-site.
Position Highlights:

Caseload: Small, focused group of students in a DHH program

Environment: Collaborative, student-centered setting with on-site support
Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group instruction to high school students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the educational team

Support students in accessing the general education curriculum

Provide strategies and tools to support language development and communication

Collaborate with staff, families, and service providers to ensure student success
Qualifications:

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a DHH endorsement required

Experience working with high school students preferred

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
