A School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Elkhorn, NE. This contract role supports a single building with a total student population of approximately 350. The ideal candidate will manage a caseload including all 13 disability categories as outlined in Nebraska Rule 51, serving students who require testing or behavior intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive educational evaluations, including cognitive assessments, academic testing, and behavior rating scales
- Develop Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and behavior plans as needed
- Lead Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and plete associated reports
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when requested to provide psychological expertise
- Collaborate closely with school staff to support students' diverse educational and behavioral needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist in Nebraska
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting a variety of cognitive and academic assessments
- Experience with behavior assessment and intervention planning
- Familiarity with all disability categories in Nebraska Rule 51 preferred
- Strong munication skills for conducting meetings and collaborating with educators and families
- Ability to manage a full caseload within a single elementary school environment
Work Schedule:
- Typical hours are 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, with occasional before- or after-school MDT or IEP meetings as required
- Position duration: August 2025 through May 2026
