Location: Rock Springs Branch Department: Training Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/wk)

Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Training Specialist to coordinate, prepare, and deliver effective training programs for new and existing credit union staff. This role plays a key part in developing employee knowledge, ensuring engagement, and supporting organizational goals through tailored learning initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and passionate about employee development and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Development & Delivery (25%) Design and implement effective, engaging training programs that align with strategic goals. Develop tools and documentation to support learning and retention.
  • Facilitate Training Sessions (20%) Lead in-person and virtual training sessions, including new hire orientation, product-specific training, and interactive education. Administer and analyze assessments to ensure understanding and impact.
  • Track & Report Progress (20%) Monitor training effectiveness through assessments and on-the-job evaluations. Track individual and team progress and communicate results to management.
  • Maintain Product Knowledge (15%) Stay informed on credit union products and services to ensure up-to-date training materials and delivery.
  • Manage Training Calendar (10%) Maintain and coordinate training schedules, agendas, and logistics. Gather feedback for continual content improvement and platform upgrades.
  • Lead Organizational Initiatives (10%) Oversee company-wide learning and development efforts. Support projects related to employee development and performance enhancement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, including time in preparatory positions.
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Self-directed and adaptable, with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience delivering training in both classroom and virtual environments.

  • Routine use of office equipment and computers
  • Requires calm professionalism under pressure and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate with diverse teams.
