A middle school teaching opportunity is available for a full-time General Education teacher with specialized experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This position, based in Concordia, KS, starts at the beginning of the new school year and runs on a standard contract schedule Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Valid SPED certification covering middle school grade levels
• Ability to create and implement individualized learning plans to meet diverse student needs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering tailored instruction to middle school students within a general education setting, focusing on inclusive practices for learners with ASD
• Collaborating with support staff to ensure students academic and social development
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with families and faculty
