Summary

Boundless Childcare Preschool is now hiring a dynamic Assistant Teacher that will float between classrooms wherever is needed throughout our center. Our center serves children 6 weeks-5 year-olds. The ideal candidate would have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, a positive and supportive attitude, flexible, and a willingness to learn and grow. This position is at our brand-new site in New Haven, IN, serving children 6 weeks-age 5. We plan to open in November 2024 but want to have staff hired earlier to have time to onboard, set up rooms and meet families prior to opening.

Duties

• Cover teacher breaks and planning times.
• Cover teacher's absences and /or vacation time.
• Implement activities consistent with the curriculum
• Documenting children's growth and development
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Create and implement a learning environment that is conducive to learning
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that all students are learning together
• Communicate with families regularly to build partnerships and ensure the well-being of their children

Requirements

Experience/Education:

• Minimum Highschool Diploma/Equivalent
• Experience working with children
• Passion for working with children

Nice To Haves

CDA and/or Associates Degree in Early Childhood/related field
