This position offers an opportunity for a part-time School Psychologist to support K-12 students through comprehensive psychological services during the school year. The role involves conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations for approximately 20 students, ensuring thorough assessments that contribute to tailored educational plans. One day each week is dedicated to collaborative team meetings, fostering coordination and communication among educators and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychological evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with district guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff during scheduled team meetings.
- Analyze student data and provide recommendations to support academic and emotional development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational mandates.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or certification.
- Experience conducting K-12 psychological assessments.
- Strong knowledge of evaluation protocols and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students efficiently.
