Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and evaluations for students.
- Interpret assessment results and compose clear and legally compliant evaluation reports.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input on student needs and interventions.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding behavioral and learning challenges.
- Assist in developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans.
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts as required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in alignment with district policies.
Qualifications:
- Active California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Previous experience with both elementary and middle school populations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws (IDEA) and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively across multiple locations.
