Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required.

A full-time teaching position is available for a qualified professional specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) education. This role serves K-12 students across multiple locations in the Corrales, NM area, with a preference for onsite presence to support student needs effectively. The assignment spans the 2025/2026 school year under a contract arrangement.

Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) license with Deaf Education Endorsement, or eligibility to obtain the endorsement
• Experience working with DHH students across K-12 grade levels
• Ability to provide itinerant services across multiple school locations
• Strong munication skills and adaptability to varied educational settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to deaf and hard of hearing students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Travel between multiple school sites to provide consistent and prehensive support
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Location:

• Based in Corrales, NM with travel required to various school sites within the assignment area
