Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver focused reading intervention instruction for Middle School.
• Use knowledge in reading intervention strategies and implementation
• Collaborate with classroom teachers for instructional planning
• Provide effective instruction to small groups of students
• Assist in the scheduling and assignment of students to the program
• Help students read fluently, comprehend what they are reading, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and writing
• Demonstrate classroom management skills to facilitate learning
• Use oral and written language skills accurately and effectively
• Integrate the assessments to design appropriate lesson planning and effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse student needs and learning styles
• Support the mission and curriculum of the school

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Teacher License preferred.
• Interventionist experience preferred.
