THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Talent Management & Training Specialist at NexaMotion Group plays a key role in supporting organizational success by designing and managing programs that attract, develop, and retain top talent. With a focus on onboarding, training, and professional development, this role enhances the employee experience across the lifecycle. The Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure effective content delivery and tracking, while partnering with business leaders to assess training needs, develop targeted learning solutions, and implement engagement strategies that drive growth and performance. By promoting a culture of continuous learning, the Specialist helps employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute to NexaMotion Group’s mission.
This role includes a mix of instructional design, training, performance management and engagement within a highly cross functional and supportive team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learning & Development
- Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring effective content delivery, accurate tracking of participation, and a positive user experience.
- Collaborate with leaders across the organization to identify training needs and align development programs with strategic goals and workforce capabilities.
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training solutions in various formats to support diverse learning styles.
- Lead various onboarding and orientation programs and trainings that set up new hires for success and reinforce organizational culture and values.
- Create and maintain high-quality training materials including manuals, guides, and e-learning content using tools such as Articulate360, Canva, and Camtasia.
- Track and analyze training participation, performance data, and feedback to measure program effectiveness and continuously improve learning initiatives.
- Develop customized training programs to address role-specific needs and promote continuous learning and skill development.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in training, development, and talent management to ensure program innovation and relevance.
Talent Engagement & Organizational Development
- Support the development and execution of strategies that enhance employee engagement, foster career growth, and encourage retention.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects that promote a culture of inclusion, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Assist with the design and delivery of talent initiatives such as leadership development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Contribute to internal HR initiatives, including employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and team effectiveness programs.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all training and development activities, assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Evaluate the success of development initiatives using assessments, surveys, and feedback to inform future improvements.
- Take on additional duties and special projects as assigned to support the broader HR and organizational goals.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Training & Development, or a related field or 5–7 years of progressive related work experience
- Previous experience designing and delivering corporate training programs in a professional setting preferred.
- Proficient in Learning Management System (LMS) administration and optimization.
- Experience with content development tools such as Articulate360, Canva, and Camtasia preferred.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and database or records management systems.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and related business software.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard for quality.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, aligned with company policies and regulations.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This is a hybrid position with in-office collaborations days on Wednesday in Walton Hills. There may be occasions where work necessitates an in-office presence or travel – not more than 10%.
